Johnny Fenwick didn't feature in San Antonio's last match as their two-game winning streak was brought to an end by Real Monarchs.
The defender, who made his pro debut against Las Vegas Lights, could feature in this weekend's clash with Tacoma Defiance.
The match sees two of the bottom three teams, in the Western Conference, meet at Toyota Field and Tacoma also have the worst goal difference in the USL Championship.

Bruce was named in the New Mexico United squad for the very first time last weekend, but didn't come off the substitutes bench.
The midfielder is yet to feature this season for New Mexico, whose unbeaten start to the season was ended in Week 7 after a 2-1 defeat to Reno 1868.
They conceded in the 89th-minute, but still sit third in their conference, while their opponents this week currently sit top of the pile.
Portland Timbers 2 are unbeaten in three games and, in their last match, they came from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Colorado Springs Switchbacks.

Birmingham Legion are unbeaten in their last three matches after a goalless draw with Swope Park Rangers.
Midfielder Joe Holland played the final five minutes of the match as the Legion have bounced back after a disappointing start to their debut campaign.
Loudoun United, their Week 8 opponents, had an impressive win last weekend as they came from behind to beat New York Red Bulls II for their first win of the 2019 season.

They currently sit second in the Eastern Conference and take on a Swope Park Rangers side, who have yet to win a game this season.
Rangers drew 0-0 with Birmingham Legion in their last match, but have lost three of their five games so far.
El Paso Locomotive FC vs Reno 1868 FC - April 28 (2:30am)
Defender Andrew Fox wasn't named in the matchday squad for El Paso Locomotive last weekend as they drew 0-0 with Austin Bold.

Seymore was one of three PASS4 clients to start for their teams and the midfielder played the full 90 minutes in Week 7.
Reno brought an end to New Mexico United's unbeaten streak and could go top of the Western Conference with a victory.
New York Red Bulls II vs Indy Eleven - April 28 (10:00pm)
King was named in the starting line-up for Indy Eleven as they won 3-0 away to Bethlehem Steel last weekend.
The defender played 64 minutes and the convincing win lifts Indy up to fourth in the conference, just three points off the top with two games in hand.
New York Red Bulls II suffered a shock defeat at home to Loudoun United, in their last match. Despite taking an early lead, they lost 3-1.
This game sees third place go up against fourth place in the Eastern Conference and the winnner could find themselves top by the end of the weekend.
