Caitlin Hayes began her career with Manchester City, where she was part of the team that won three-straight league championships.

The defender also won two Tesco Cup championships with Manchester United before going on to make her senior debut with Everton.

She then gained a scholarship with Mississippi College, in the United States, in 2013 and spent four years studying and playing soccer out there.

The Warrington-native returned to Europe to play senior football for Barcelona, in the Cypriot First Division.

Caitlin has played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League this season and scored twice in the 6-0 win over Slovenian side Olimpija Ljubljana in Group 2.

The centre-half played in the 2-0 win over Slovan Bratislava, also in Group 2. Hayes started in both of the knockout games against Glasgow City too.

After Hayes finished her season with Barcelona, she made the move back to England, signing for Lewes FC.
